Abstract

 


This paper proposes the implementation of an algorithm for generating scenarios trees from a series of statistical data; the algorithm is valid to process information from results of randomized experiments or simulations from known distribution functions of probability.


The scenarios tree is an appropriate instrument to deal with random parameters allows for solving stochastic optimization problems in the field of renewable natural resources.


The proposed methodology is applied to a study case to treat random information resource power generation wind and hydraulic, as well as electricity demand (including loading of induction cookers), a system of isolated distribution, based on data sets real history measurements.
