Abstract
In the Ecuadorian electrical system the high electricity transfers have had in more than one occasion instability, so the use of new technologies based on PMUs is a solution to address these drawbacks. This article presents the calculation of power system steady stable parameters in real time using a PMU prototype with FPGA technology for monitoring, control and protection of electrical system using a user-friendly interface.
