The Ecuadorian government is interested in promoting the integration of renewable energies in the transport sector with special attention to the Galapagos Islands. In this context, this paper describes the design and implementation of a computer cloud platform loud of monitoring of the behavior of a charging station for electric vehicles, powered from an isolated photovoltaic solar system currently operating at the Huachi campus of the Technical University of Ambato. In the present study a brief description of the design, dimensioning, installation and commissioning of photovoltaic solar charging station for electric vehicle installed at the city of Ambato is presented. Remote monitoring of the integrated electric station into a cloud platform ensures optimal track the performance of solar installations in different geographical areas of the country. In this sense the photovoltaic solar charging station for electric vehicles represents a replicable and scalable prototype in isolated areas, is special in the Galapagos Islands. The remote monitoring cloud platform allows analyzing the behavior of the different elements of the solar installation: panels, regulators, batteries and inverters. The presentation of the acquired data visually allows the load recorder of the installation the correct behavior of the electric station and be alert to unexpected failures, guaranteeing the normal operation of the electric station.
