Análisis del Recurso Eólico mediante la Transformada Wavelet con Aplicación a la Estimación de la Producción Eléctrica en Aerogeneradores

Abstract

In the fi eld of prefeasibility and feasibility of a wind farm, Discrete Wavelet Transform is applied to the analysis of wind records at a site in order to decompose the series in its frequency spectrum. The decomposed series and fi ltered several mother Wavelet is used to estimate the energy they produce the center through the analysis of the probability density function of Weibull site. To validate the model results energy estimate is analyzed using the original number of winds, that obtained through the wavelet decomposed and the actual energy measured in an existing plant, taken as a case study series.
