Aspectos Técnicos de la Segunda Actualización Integral del SCADA/EMS del CENACE

Abstract

This article presents the main features of the new SCADA / EMS system of CENACE, enabling it to fulfill its responsibility as Technical Operator of the Interconnected National System and international interconnections, in order to improve operational security and enhance the quality of service. From a general approach, functionality and conceptual architecture of SCADA / EMS, with its technological components, based on a distributed and open architecture that enables interoperability with other technological systems is explained. Fundamental technical aspects of project implementation, the advantages of scheme continuously updating and maintenance and evolution of SCADA / EMS are indicated.
