Good Socio-environmental Practices in the Ecological Management of the Reservoir Manduriacu Hydroelectric Power Station

Abstract
This work identified specifications and favorable environmental conditions for the washing of the bottom muds of the reservoir of the Manduriacu hydroelectric power station. The mitigation of the negative impact of the washing seeks to point to the responsibility with the environment, society, compliance with environmental regulations and obligations acquired in the Environmental Impact Study, Environmental Management Plan and Environmental License No. 012/12 issued 2012- 05-15. In the project, a pilot test was carried out to rescue fish from the reservoir; and the action plan itself was prepared for this event. The plan consisted of: analysis of the results of the pilot test; review of fish rescue site equipment; planning and internal and external communication; fishing methodology, transfer, maintenance and reintroduction of fish to the river.
