Evaluación del Impacto que Genera la Introducción Masiva de Cocinas de Inducción en los Transformadores de Distribución Usando Algoritmos Genéticos
Main Article Content
Abstract
Currently the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy of Ecuador (MEER) is implementing across the country The National Plan of Effi cient Cooking, this project is based on replacing the kitchens using liquefi ed petroleum gas (LPG) for electrical induction cookers. This change in technology represents a considerable increase in electricity demand in the residential sector. Research in the fi eld of electrical distribution systems allow to evaluate the current situation and future scenarios of the behavior of electrical networks and therefore to be in the ability to determine the technical and administrative improvements to be implemented along with the project. This article analyzes the results of part of the distribution network of the Loja city, using genetic algorithms, focusing primarily on the effects on the network transformers caused by the massive introduction of induction cookers, with the aim of offering an alternative to solve the problem caused by a sharp growth in demand for energy and to help minimize the costs of investment in new equipment.
