Abstract

This paper presents a control proposal for a direct current safety device based on the philosophy of CC converters (boost – elevator) which will receive a control method known as sliding control mode. An averaged converter model is proposed for this so that a control strategy with a sliding surface can later be applied, in order to reduce direct load current to the absolute minimum possible and thus perform safe circuit disconnection. This proposal also reduces the TVR (Transient Recover Voltage) to close to zero. The behavior simulation of our design has been developed on the Matlab and Simulink Platform.
