Determination of Energy Quality Indicators for the Case of a User Connected in Medium Voltage

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the energy quality parameters in the system of a user connected in medium voltage, which registered penalties by the local distributor. For this, an energy audit was carried out in accordance with regulation No. ARCERNNR 002/20; carrying out a load study, technical valuation of assets and analysis of variables with a FLUKE 435 equipment. Being determined; Pst values ​​greater than 1, records up to 36% in THD and an fp of 0.84 in more than 50% of the records. The ETAP software was used to analyze the load flows, evidencing that some points do not comply with the permitted voltage levels, registering variations of up to 26%. Additionally, saving alternatives were proposed through the use of solar radiation, running simulations in the DIALUX software. With the analysis and proposals raised, it is proposed to substantially improve the energy performance of the user.
