Auctions for Distributed Energy Resource for Electric Utilities
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article proposes a methodology to auction distributed generation projects, based on the solution of a simplified mixed-integer optimization problem (MILP- Mixed-integer linear programming - MILP) that assigns the accepted projects for their incorporation in the Companies of Distribution (ED).
The optimization problem selects the optimal projects by activating a binary variable, which considers as a restriction the maximum capacity of energy and power pre-established for the auction process, based on previous planning. For this purpose, an application (APP) with a graphical interface is also developed that facilitates the user to enter data and analyze the results.
