This article considers a transition scenario to non-conventional renewable energy sources (ERNC) of mixed technology, composed of photovoltaic solar generation and wind microgeneration, taking into account a gradual decarbonization event. As a case study, the Dayuma thermoelectric plant (2MW), located in the province of Orellana, Ecuador, will be considered., Initially for its development, the natural energy resources of the area were evaluated, such as temperature, irradiance, wind speed at its maximum, minimum and average points, in a time interval of five years. Subsequently, for optimal management of energy production, controllers based on fuzzy logic were used to monitor the maximum power point (MPPT), and this controller has been compared with a conventional P&O. Finally, the corresponding calculations were carried out to determine the number of high-efficiency panels needed and compared with other low-voltage ones. Likewise, the number of wind micro-generators and the physical area necessary for the implementation of the proposed plant were established. in each case, obtaining important results for the possibility of replacing the existing thermoelectric plant. This research seeks to estimate the maximum possible generation by obtaining the point of maximum power transfer based on fuzzy logic control and with this to define the possibility of supplanting the aforementioned thermal power plant.
